Ammonium Sulfate Products

Crystalline and granular ammonium sulfate supplied from China under the grade analysis 21-0-0-24S — a dual-nutrient nitrogen and sulfur product for agricultural, compound fertilizer and industrial use.

Comparison

Crystalline or granular — which do you need?

The chemistry is identical. The difference is physical form, and it decides whether your blend holds together and whether your spreader works properly.

Physical form comparison — both forms are the same compound, (NH4)2SO4
Characteristic Crystalline / standard Granular
Nominal analysis 21-0-0-24S 21-0-0-24S
Particle form Fine white to off-white crystals, as produced Coarser, more uniform granules
Dissolution Dissolves quickly Dissolves more slowly
Bulk blending Not suited — segregates from coarse granules Suited — the form blenders specify
Mechanical spreading Prone to dust and uneven feed Feeds and spreads predictably
Typical buyers Straight fertilizer supply, compound fertilizer producers, industrial users, fertigation Bulk blenders, NPK producers, distributors selling granular material
Particle size distribution Confirmed per lot — see TDS / COA Confirmed per lot, against your blend requirement

Packaging

Packaging formats quoted

25 kg bags

Standard small bags for distributors and retail-facing supply. Bag material, printing and palletisation are agreed per order.

50 kg bags

Larger bags for agricultural distribution and handling systems that work at 50 kg unit weights.

Jumbo bags (FIBC)

Typically used for industrial buyers and for container or bulk programmes where large unit weights reduce handling cost.

Bulk (in vessel)

Loose cargo for bulk vessel shipment, subject to vessel availability, loading port facilities and discharge requirements at destination.

Loading quantity: Loading quantity depends on packaging, container type and shipping requirements.

Specifying an ammonium sulfate order

A quotation you can act on needs six things. Send all six and you will normally avoid a clarification round.

  • Product and grade — ammonium sulfate, and the analysis you require
  • Physical form — granular or crystalline, stated explicitly
  • Particle size — if you blend or use mechanical spreaders, give the range
  • Packaging — 25 kg, 50 kg, jumbo bags or bulk
  • Quantity — a trial container, or a programme with a monthly profile
  • Destination port and trade term — FOB, CFR or CIF; tell us the basis you want to work on

If you also need a specific document set, a letter of credit or an unusual packaging configuration, raise it with the first enquiry. See Ammonium Sulfate Specification Guide.
